  • Dr. Shannon King

    Veterinarian / Owner
I am originally from Hammond, MT. I graduated from Washington State University in 2006. I share a beautiful Bozeman home with my wonderful husband Mike, our son Austin, 2 dogs; “Rusty” his son “Reggie”, and our cat “Josie”. My favorite part of being a veterinarian is getting to see the bond that people and their pets share. It’s beautiful and  humbling.

I am a born and raised Bozemanite. I too graduated from Washington State University. I married my best friend Ross in 2014 and we share two beautiful daughters, a dog “Oliver” and a cat named “Pickles, the Mighty Hunter”. I love working here  at Valley View because I have great colleagues, that feel like a 2nd family.

    Veterinary Assistant
I am a 4th generation Bozeman girl. I am studying to be a Veterinary Technician. My love for animals began when I was 3 years old. We had a canary named “Skipper” and a Pomeranian named “Blossum”. I love to go on road trips, hike, and camp with my 2 dogs “Wilson” and “Annie”. The best part of working here is getting to care for the animals and make them better. I pride myself on treating every pet as if they were my own.

    Receptionist & Veterinary Assistant
I’m from La Crosse, WI. Fait brought me to this beautiful valley in 2006. I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals and finally I’m studying to be a certified Veterinary Assistant. My boyfriend and I own a home in Three Forks; we share it with our dogs “Makeena” & “Pete” and the house boss, our cat “Flogging Molly”. In a perfect world, we’d pack up the animals, pick a mountain lake, and spend the rest of our days fishing and hiking.  I enjoy learning new things from these doctors that I have been so blessed to work with. And the ‘Wiggle Butts’ will brighten any day.

    Veterinary Assistant / Kennel Tech
I am from Duluth, MN and I moved to Bozeman in May 17' to attend MSU. I'm double majoring in Animal Science and Environmental Biology, in hopes to one day become a Wildlife Rehabilitator. If I'm not at work caring for animals, I will be up in the mountains hiking, climbing, or skiing.
I have learned so much, just in the short time I've been here. My Favorite part of working here at Valley View Vet, are my fabulous colleagues and both the doctors. Dr. King and Dr. Hartman are excellent teachers.

    Kennel Tech & Veterinary Assistant
I was born in Tampa, Florida but I’ve traveled all over the world. I’ve been anywhere from Denmark, Korea, New York, Texas and back here to the Big Sky Country again.  My husband Jason and I share a great love for animals. We have 1 dog “Josie”, and 1 cat named “Junior”. I've always surrounded myself with animals, so it is fitting that I primarily take care of the boarding pets at Valley View. I really do love my job!
